English Riding Camps

O'Neal Farms offers English Riding Camps throughout the summer.  Our camps focus is on Safety, Fun, and Learning of the Olympic Disciplines for English riding.  

  • Camp ages: camps are offered to children 5 and up.
  • Camps Focus: Children will learn to properly groom horses, tack up horses, clean stalls, clean tack, handle horses, ride English, play games on horseback, and basic stable management skills. We will also have a mini horse show and Pizza Party on Thursday of the camp if the camp has at least 6 students.
  • Camps Curriculum: The camps curriculum is based on knowledge and training from the United States Pony Club Association ICP Teaching Theories.

We offer 3 group levels

  • Intro (no horse experience)
  • Intermediate (some basic riding skills and horse management)
  • Advanced (Riding for at least 2 years with instruction)

Camp Dates:  Camps run Monday-Thursday from 10-2:00 pm with the option to stay until 4:00 (extra $80 fee charged per camp for after hours)

  • Camp 1:June 15-18
  • Camp 2: June 29-July2
  • Camp 3: July 6-9
  • Camp 4: July 13-16  
  • Camp 5: August 10-13
  • Camp 6: August 17-20

Camps Fees

$350 per week from 10-2:00

$430 per week from 10-4:00

$50 discount for mulitple children in one family.

$50 discount if you sign up and pay by June 1, 2009

* Camps may be cancelled if not full.

* Helmets/water/ and snacks will be provided.

* Children must wear boots, pants, and bring a lunch, towel and swimsuit.  Younger childern may want to bring a change of clothes.
